You are exactly where you need to be...

This was the quote on the visitor's centre in Flam that I noticed before we embarked on our 2 hour cruise continuing on our Norway in a Nutshell tour. Prior to leaving we took the time for a short hike outside our hotel to stretch our legs for the next 3 legs of our trip to Bergen (by boat, bus and train).

A quick visit to the Flam Railway Museum where I saw a very interesting mode of transportation that was used during construction of the Flamsbana railway - (the world's most beautiful train journey) - a bicycle that sits on top of the tracks. Can you imagine if, in Canada, with all the abandoned tracks they installed something like this how fun it would be!

Now to bore you with fjords, and fjords and fjords, It was a beautiful but chilly boat ride up to Gudvangen - a once in a lifetime trip.
